Greetings, I’m glad you found us on the Dell Technologies Education Services Community Site! I am an instructor specializing in Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) and Converged Infrastructure (CI). I enjoy helping customers, partners, and internals, realize the potential of our products, services, and solutions.

I started in technology circa 7CD (hexadecimal of course). I’ve worked in a variety of roles including support, service readiness, and training. I am the Delivery Global Lead Instructor for HCI/CI. I have a Coordinate Universal Time (UTC) between -4 when tilted toward the sun, and -5 when tilted away. I enjoy leveraging technical solutions to their fullest extent, and of course long walks on the beach with needlessly dramatic sunsets.

Hello!! And welcome to the Dell Technologies Education Services Community Site! My name is Guru and I am the Delivery Global Lead Instructor for Data Protection Services. During my journey of 14 years with EMC and Dell, I have had the pleasure of interacting with and educating customers, partners and Dell and EMC colleagues globally on various Data Protection technologies like Avamar, Data Domain, Networker, Data Protection Advisor and Power Protect Data Manager.

I work out of my cozy home office in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. When I am not preaching Data Protection, I enjoy singing and listening to Indian Classical music, reading fiction and tending my humble home garden.

I’m Based in Paris.

I started working for EMC back in August 2003 (18 years ago… No, I cannot believe it).

I started as a Customer Engineer for about 2 Years. I was mainly focused on PowerMax (Symmetrix at that time) and SAN switches. In 2005, I moved to a NAS RTS (Regional Technical Support) position. I spent almost 4 years troubleshooting customer issues for Celerra.

I moved to an EMEA Technical Instructor role in 2008…13 years that I’m delivering trainings…Whaouu..

I deliver trainings on 4 Products (PowerStore, PowerScale, Unity and Networker). I’m the Global Lead Instructor for 3 products (PowerStore, PowerScale and Unity).

What am I doing when I’m not working ? I Enjoy Paris, it’s Pubs & Restaurants. Enjoy travelling (a bit complicated over the last year 😊 ). I’m running quite a lot and enjoy more specifically Trail running (running in the mountains, even though most of the time I walk 😊). I’ll run a 100 Km in August in the Alps (CCC race during the UTMB).

I started with EMC 14 years ago designing and implementing Data Protection solutions. Over the years I’ve held several roles, from Solutions Architect to Content Developer, Scrum Master, and Product Manager, but always focused on Data Protection. Currently, I’m the Product Manager for Security and Data Protection education where I focus on understanding product challenges and defining training offers to help our customers excel with our products.

I work from my home office in Fort Worth, Texas and when I’m not working, I enjoy leatherwork, photography, collecting and learning about whiskey, and spending time outdoors.
